Booked for Christmas family dinner on Christmas Eve using online booking with weeks to spare. Received a call a few days before Christmas eve to say they are not actually open! Did not receive any help with sorting the situation they put me in just a rather insincere apology. Could've rung the other restaurants to place my booking but no, left me to do the donkey work. Fortunately the Eight Bells came to the rescue and we had a fabulous evening there instead. Won't be going back to the Crossed Keys.
Popped in for a hot chocolate. Which was nice. But table needed a wipe down. Service was good.
Very warm welcome by staff. Good food and wine. Service was excellent. I am really pleased with the service that we received yesterday and we can go back we will certainly be visiting.
Tastiest roast Ive ever had. Never had any problems when eating here, lovely food, atmosphere and very helpful. One of mine and the other halves favourite places
Weve been there for lunch, being inside such an ancient building was a great experience. We are lucky to get a table just at the corner of the street and it was fun. Beetroot soup, scallops, sweet potato fries are just a few we tried and we were very impressed both for presentation and taste.
