All 10 of us were very impressed with a variety of meals. Service great and a very busy pub in a modern setting with a great menu. One star removed from music being to loud and the strange TV set up!
Really lively atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, family friendly, and the food was very nice.I ordered an ameretto after the meal, which they had run out of, so the manager gave me a nice cognac on the house... A nice gesture.I would recommend and am looking forward to going back.
I can honestly say that was one of the best meals i have ever had,but be warned it is expensive. I am a great believer in you get what you pay for and that was worth every penny. Everyone was really helpful and happy. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will be going back for certain.
Seems to be quite a successful transformation of a formerly traditional rural pub. It is no longer rural and now has the ambience of an American diner, which is surprising given the location. A USP perhaps. A good selection of beer which is well kept by the attentive and helpful bar staff. Unfortunately the large pleasant grassy beer garden with long reaching views is now a car park and dogs, although welcome outside are not allowed inside. Different to what it was, although well worth a visit again.
