Unfortunately we had a bereavement and had the funeral at Cam Valley Crematorium. We were recommended to have the wake at The Queenshead in Littlebury as they have the space and six en suite guest rooms. They were brilliant, totally sympathetic to our needs and were very professional in the execution. They have a dedicated events manager that really knew her stuff , they do not charge for the hire of the venue which helped and the buffet was plentiful and delicious. I would like to thank both Cam Valley and The Queenshead for making a sad day a whole lot better !.
Nice place to stop for a drink or a meal.Has 6 rooms should you want to sleep over.Friendly staff.Moderately priced.Parking at rear.If this review is helpful please press like.
this is everything you would expect from an old inn we stayed for 2 nights Lovely open fire with sofas very welcoming especially Leon honestly a very nice genuine guy ! Food lunch and dinner is ok what you would expect from pub grub, dont go for breakfast was disgusting even the mushrooms were re cooked ! And was not worth the money we paidThere was a problem with one meal but was rectified with no problems Nice and tidy but could do with a deep clean Bedroom was small but in keeping with an old coaching inn Shower and toilet could do with a good limescale remover This inn is situated in a beautiful part of the country with lots of things going on very peaceful and the drinks a really well priced and a good wide choice! Great atmosphere and staff
