My 18 year olds taxi did not arrive after a friends party and the hotel drove round the town looking for a taxi. Not easy at 2am in a market town. They even offered a free stay, but found a ride for him. Cannot rate them highly enough. Great team.
Had a party which was hosted in the hotel last night. The owner and staff were very friendly and pleasant, and helped me find a cab when mine didnt turn up. Would strongly recommend!

We went to saffron for our friends wedding in August, and had this hotel booked and a confirmation email and had spoke to them twice over the booking as they seemed to be struggling with this simple task and made it very confusing when it should have been very easy, we arrived and they said we where not booked in and never had been even though we had a confirmation email and it was now our problem to sort a hotel out the night before our friends wedding, this cost us a fortune in taxis hotels and ruined our weekend, also they did this to a number of other guests on the day, do not book this hotel they are useless.
Room was lovely and clean and spacious. Can't comment on the restaurant as it was closed for refurb so breakfast was only cereals and toast. I think they should have reduced the price a little to compensate. Ther only reason i have given 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the loud thumping music till early hours which kept us awake. I wish I'd asked or they'd warned us that loud music was being played just below or room. For that reason alone i wouldn't stay here again
