Just stood and waited for twenty minutes to be served!! Wasn't acknowledged until after fifteen minutes of waiting and then a guy who had just walked through the door was seen ahead of me. Not impressed, I'll be finding another opticians.
Told my daughter she didn't need glasses when she can't see the board at school. Went to boots instead and got a proper eye test and glasses!
Very helpful staff and excellent range of specs
This was my first time using Specsavers as my old optician had moved. Unfortunately mine has not been a good experience as it is now 4 weeks since I ordered and paid for my glasses and I still do not have them. The communication from Specsavers has been poor as I was not notified when my glasses were ready to be picked up, nor updated after that unless I rang to chase. When I went to pick up my glasses they had not been configured correctly for my eyes which I can't understand as I had just had an eye test in house. I have just called again to ask for an update as I was supposed to have received them last week and am told they were posted today. I can only assume this branch struggles with staffing levels and training. Needless to say I will be returning to my previous opticians in future.
Terrible service. First time I went I was kept waiting for ages, I had to go and make another appointment, they promised to phone me to follow up and didnt. I foolishly went back for contact lenses. When I arrived on time, they told me I was late and missed the appointment and had to reschedule and they promised to phone me to order temporary lenses, they didnt. Update, they picked up on this and apologised for the problems.
