Nice shop great customer service
I have been using Audlyendnews for 20 years and had nothing but very good service,excellent coffee And a very good selection off wines yes you will pay a bit more but your not shopping at a big supermarket and jay knows his wines .
Pretty basic. Geared towards station users but given location would benefit if had more essentials you need for home. Next nearest shop isnt nearby!
Rude female assistant who tried to charge me 1 as a "visa charge" for a cappuccino. The owner had previously charged 50p which was steep but ok. For her to jack it up was tantamount to theft. I called her on it and she begrudgingly changed it. She then made a very big deal of making the coffee very slowly and the atmosphere was very unpleasant. Couldn't really have been a worse customer experience.
Typical over priced newsagent but with a rude sales assistant. Their wine isn't priced and they wanted 33 for what is a ten pound bottle of wine. Other than buying papers or if you are dying of thirst avoid this place. Truly a black mark on Audley End Station!
