Small gallery with very knowledgeable staff celebrating work of local artists of considerable note. Has added advantage of being in pretty market town of Saffron Walden.
This small gallery in the historic centre of Saffron Walden was a real find. At the moment they are showing works by local artist Edward Bawden. It's better than the exhibition devoted to him in Dulwich: more pieces, less crowds and wonderful staff. We will certainly be back.
Well worth a visit, (if you like Edward Bawden's work) before the exhibition ends at the end of Oct.
Small art gallery focusing on local artists. Until October they have an exhibition of Edward Bawden - lithographs and paintings. Art is a matter of personal taste, of course, but I loved it
Quite by chance the gallery was open when I was passing and good to see so many visitors. A joy to see so much on display. A great local gallery.
